Chapter Four

Block F - Make Eight


*  Draw a diagonal line, corner to corner, on the diagonal of X1 squares.
*   Place X12 on G3 (Figure 1).
*  Stitch on diagonal line.
*  Trim, maintaining &#frac14;" seam allowance.
*  Press.

Block G - Make Four


*  Prepare the upper two corners of this block using the same technique as Blocks D and E, changing the stitching line direction on the left side.
*  The lower corners are pieced in the same manner (Figure 2).

*   When the block is completed there will be a &#frac14;" overlap at center bottom.
